Young people in Kolymska are invited to participate in the "Improve Your Town!" competition
The second season of the nationwide student competition 'Blagoustroy!' has begun, inviting students from architectural, construction, design, and urban planning faculties of Russian universities to participate. This competition is a part of the national project 'Infrastructure for Life' and is supported by the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation.
The competition is focused on developing creative projects for the improvement of public spaces, particularly in the Magadan region. Participants can present their design solutions for the development of key populated points in the Magadan region.
The competition consists of three stages and includes two educational accelerators. During these accelerators, participants can expect lectures and workshops from leading Russian architects, urbanists, and experts in urban planning. Additionally, winners in categories will receive 300,000 rubles each, and the winner of the Grand Prize of the second season of the rural student competition 'Blagoustroy!' will receive 1,000,000 rubles.
Participants can join as individuals or in teams of up to 5 people. Residents of the Magadan region are offered a unique opportunity to contribute to the creation of a comfortable urban environment in the Far East.

Participants should note that the application deadline is October 30, 2025. Furthermore, additional valuable prizes are offered by competition partners. However, the winner of the Grand Prize of the second season of the rural student competition 'Blagoustroy!' is not publicly available at this time.
Winners in categories will also receive internships in top architectural firms and a special grant for further training at the Moscow Architectural and Construction Institute. This competition is an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and make a real impact on the urban environment in the Magadan region.
