Sheikha Sheikha Mohammed Jarrah Al-Sabah, Vice Chairperson of the Scientific Club's Board of Directors and Chairwoman of the Competition's Supreme Committee, emphasized that this competition, running until tomorrow, aims to cultivate a fresh batch of creative minds in scientific research and innovation.
She highlighted that support from the public and private sectors, as well as civil society, has been instrumental in the sustainability of the competition since day one, ensuring the event receives the backing of the scientific community and secures a spot on the world stage.
She was all praises for the exceptional efforts made by professors and specialists from various scientific fields in supporting the participating students. She made it clear that their steady presence since the competition's debut lends the competition scientific credibility in assessing projects and selecting the crème de la crème.
Asrar Al-Ansari, board member and vice-chair of the committee, chipped in to say that the fair boasts 22 scientific fields, including underrepresented fields like social and behavioral sciences. She cheerily encouraged all intermediate and secondary students to join the fun and share their brainchildren.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Saffar, Head of Development Programs at the Club, noted that the fair serves as a breeding ground for a research culture among school students. He happily acknowledged the support of Kuwait University, PAAET, KISR, and especially KFAS for their efforts towards promoting science and backing student researchers.
