Week-Long All-Russian Event Kicks Off on Earth Day

It's April 22nd, the day we celebrates the Mother Earth in a global event called Earth Day! This year marks another edition of this grand annual celebration focused on protecting our environment, promoting eco-friendly lifestyles, and fostering sustainable living practices.

This significant day was officially recognized at the 63rd session of the United Nations General Assembly back in 2009. But fear not, even if you missed out on attending any major events, there's plenty more ways to get involved this year!

In the Allakhovsky District, for instance, activists from the First Movement organized "Talking About the Planet" talk at Berelekh Secondary School named after E.N. Gorkhovaya.
