Sesame Workshop Launches Free Course for Adults on Fostering Healthy Digital Habits

Sesame Workshop, the non-profit organization behind Sesame Street, has launched a free professional development course for adults on fostering healthy digital habits for children. The course, aimed at promoting digital wellbeing and online safety, is part of the organization's ongoing efforts to support kids in the digital age. Participating libraries can be found on the Sesame Workshop website.

Sesame Workshop has been championing digital wellbeing since 2024, collaborating with experts to create resources for kids of all ages. New videos and digital resources are available on Sesame.org/digitalwellbeing. Notably, the organization has partnered with Facebook, Parent Zone, the National PTA, and ConnectSafely to produce these resources.

In addition to these online offerings, Sesame Workshop will host librarian-led workshops for kids and caregivers at public libraries nationwide throughout the fall. Starting January 2026, hundreds of full Sesame Street episodes will be available on YouTube, providing engaging content for young viewers.

Sesame Workshop continues its commitment to helping kids navigate the digital world safely and responsibly. The organization is partnering to create new resources teaching children healthy digital habits, featuring beloved Muppets from Sesame Street. With these initiatives, Sesame Workshop is ensuring that kids have the tools they need to thrive in our increasingly digital society.
