School Fairtrade Day held in Aschaffenburg for the first time
Aschaffenburg, Germany, is set to host a Fairtrade Day for Schools on October 31, 2025, at Martinushaus, Treibgasse 26. This educational event, organised by the city of Aschaffenburg, Weltladen Aschaffenburg, and Martinushaus, invites students from all school types in the city and district.
The Fairtrade Day for Schools will take place from 9:30 to 12:30. For any questions regarding the event, you can contact [email protected].
The day serves as a round of exchange for teachers, a networking event, and presents new ideas for school engagement. Schools can learn about the "Fairtrade School" campaign during the event, but participation in the program is not a requirement to attend.
The Fairtrade Day offers workshops where students can delve into various topics. They can explore the connection between delicious chocolate and environmental damage, the distribution of the world's population and income, modern connections to colonialism, and more.
Each school can bring up to eight students and two teachers (maximum of approximately 150 students). Registration for the Fairtrade Day for Schools is possible until October 24, 2025. You can find the program and individual workshops for the event at www.weltladen-unsere-website/fairtrade-schools.
Join us on October 31, 2025, for a day filled with learning, exchange, and inspiration at the Fairtrade Day for Schools in Aschaffenburg.
