Revised post-result procedure for 2025: CBSE will distribute answer sheets to students prior to re-evaluation
Unleashing the New CBSE Result 2025 Process: A Game Changer for Students
In a groundbreaking move, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has overhauled the post-result process for Class 10 and 12 board exams, ensuring a more transparent and informed decision-making process for students.
Under the revised system, the operations will commence with students gaining access to actual photocopies of their evaluated answer sheets, paving the way for thoughtful decisions regarding verification or re-evaluation requests.
Previously, the arduous process involved students initially applying for verification of marks, followed by requests for answer sheet copies, and ultimately for re-evaluation. However, from this academic year, the sequence has been rearranged, permitting students to inspect their answer books first. Upon thorough review, they can then decide whether to apply for verification of marks, re-evaluation, or both, equipping them with valuable insights gained from the evaluators' comments and marks[1].
As per the CBSE's official notice, this reform allows students to make educated decisions based on the real marks and comments provided by the evaluators[2]. Detailed guidelines and timelines will be unveiled following the declaration of results.
The CBSE has not yet officially disclosed the result date and time for the 2025 Class 10 and 12 exams, which occurred from February 15 to April 4 (Class 12) and February 15 to March 1 (Class 10), respectively. Students will be able to view their results on several platforms, including *cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in*[4], results.gov.in[4], and **digilocker.gov.in[4]. Results can also be accessed through the UMANG app and via SMS.
With over 42 lakh students appearing for the board exams this year, students and parents are encouraged to keep a keen eye on the CBSE's official website for consequent updates[4].
