Regensburg Offers Six-Week Parenting Course Starting Oct 14
Parents in Regensburg can now sign up for a six-evening course starting on October 14th, aimed at providing information and support on various childcare topics. The course, held on Tuesdays from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, will cover crucial aspects of parent-child communication and conflict resolution.
The course fee is €10 per person, inclusive of course materials and documents. Interested parties should register with the Regensburg Health Department by September 30th, as places are limited. The sessions will be held at the Regensburg County Administration Office, Altmühlstraße 3, with a break during the fall holidays.
Participants will learn how to structure conversations, handle conflicts, set boundaries, make reliable agreements, and react to problems. They will also gain insights into discussing sensitive topics like alcohol consumption and excessive media use with their children. The certified course program will be conducted by social pedagogues from the Regensburg Health Department and the Youth and Family Office of the City of Regensburg.
