On September 23, 2025, Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium in Esslingen will host the COACHING4FUTURE event, an interactive presentation aimed at helping students explore the world of technology and make informed decisions about their future careers.
This event, organised by Baden-Württemberg Foundation gGmbH, will feature guest tech coaches Cornelia Mattern and Julian Rȫssler. Mattern, a tech coach with a Master of Science in Chemistry (M.Sc. Chemie), will provide interactive lectures and guidance on STEM topics to students.
The interactive presentation will showcase developments from natural scientific research areas and demonstrate how MINT professions contribute to solving important challenges. The topics covered in the presentation will be decided by the school classes at the beginning.
The COACHING4FUTURE program offers guidance to students on career opportunities in MINT disciplines (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology). Participating companies present their training and dual study opportunities in the MINT field on the COACHING4FUTURE website (www.coaching4future.de).
The event aims to help students decide if a technical career suits them and to spark interest in engaging with technology. It will take place at Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium, located at Breslauer Str. 19, 73730 Esslingen am Neckar.
The program will be held in three interactive school presentations, each lasting from 9:40 AM to 11:10 AM, 11:20 AM to 12:50 PM, and 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
The COACHING4FUTURE event is supported by the employers' association SÜDWESTMETALL and the Regional Directorate Baden-Württemberg of the Federal Employment Agency.
