Personality Numeric Indicators Explained
Numerology, a belief system that uses numbers to analyse and interpret a person's character and destiny, offers intriguing insights into our personalities. One of the key numbers calculated in numerology is the Personality Number. This number, primarily derived from the consonants in your name, reveals how others perceive you.
Calculating Your Personality Number
There are two common methods to determine your Personality Number: the Consonant Method and the Full Name Method.
The Consonant Method
- Write down your full birth name, excluding any vowels (A, E, I, O, U).
- Assign each consonant a numerical value using the Pythagorean numerology chart: B, K, T = 2; C, L, U = 3; D, M, V = 4; F, N, W = 5; G, P, X = 6; H, Q, Y = 7; J, R = 8; S, Z = 9.
- Add all the consonant values together.
- Reduce the total sum to a single digit or master number (11, 22, 33) by adding the digits together repeatedly.
- The resulting single digit or master number is your Personality Number.
The Full Name Method
- Write down your full birth name as registered, including all first, middle, and last names.
- Assign numerical values to all letters (both consonants and vowels) using the same Pythagorean chart as the Consonant Method.
- Add all the values together.
- Reduce the total sum to a single digit or master number as in the Consonant Method.
Interpreting Your Personality Number
Your Personality Number, whether calculated using the Consonant or Full Name Method, reflects how others perceive you. For example:
- Number 6 is associated with love and balance. People with this number are very caring and considerate, usually peacemakers who strive for harmony in all areas of their lives. However, they can also be indecisive and overly sensitive.
- Number 8 is associated with power and success. People with this number often have natural leadership abilities and a strong desire for material wealth and achievements. However, they can also be domineering and manipulative and may tend towards greed and excess.
