The Polygon Live Launch Pad competition is an exciting opportunity for an up-and-coming artist to perform a 30-minute set at Polygon Live LDN, the UK's largest outdoor spatial audio event[1]. This contest, in collaboration with Polygon LIVE, promises to be a significant step forward for the winner's music career.

Prizes

The main prize is the chance to perform live at Polygon Live LDN, a high-profile music event focused on spatial audio[1]. In addition to the performance, the winner will receive a £500 performance fee.

Three finalists will also receive an invitation to attend a workshop at L-Acoustics L-ISA studio in London, VIP weekend tickets to Polygon Live LDN, a feature on OpenLab Radio, an invitation to participate in FutureSound's artist development programme, and exclusive merchandise.

How to Enter

To enter the competition, contestants must currently live in the UK, submit their bio, provide a short paragraph about their proposed performance and interest in spatial audio, include a link to one original track and a live performance video, and optionally include a link to an original binaural track. The exact entry process is not yet specified, but it is likely that applicants will need to submit their materials to the organisers of Polygon Live Launch Pad or Polygon Live LDN.

Partnership and Workshops

Our school, a partner of Polygon LIVE, is offering a Music Production and Sound Engineering degree that covers foundational music production to advanced spatial audio techniques. The school's campuses are located in London, Los Angeles, Ibiza, and online, and it boasts two dedicated spatial audio rooms - Studio 1 and Studio 9 - equipped with Dolby Atmos technology.

In addition to the degree programme, our school offers a Spatial Audio short course. Registering with our school provides access to free sounds, plugins, online course samples, and more. The school is also partnering with Polygon LIVE as their official education partners, offering exclusive discounted tickets to the festival.

The Masterclass

A Live Spatial Audio Masterclass is being held in collaboration with Polygon LIVE on Thursday 27 March. The event will feature experts including Adam Nicholas, Matt Hill, and Jacques Jenkins. If you're interested in spatial audio, this is an event not to be missed.

The deadline for submissions is 12 March, and the winner will be announced on 28 March. For the latest official page or social media for detailed entry instructions, please visit the Polygon Live LDN or Polygon social channels or websites related to the event.
