Fergerson's extensive portfolio includes nonprofit, corporate, and athletic experience. He served as interim CFO at Park University since December 2024, and was officially promoted to the role of CFO, effective February 2, 2025. In his new role, Fergerson leads the financial operations of Park University, responsible for maintaining financial stability, driving growth initiatives, and ensuring the university's financial operations comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
John Huber, on the other hand, brings a unique blend of educational and administrative experience to his role. He holds a Master of Education degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, both from La Roche University in Pittsburgh, Pa. Huber also has a Master of Science degree in Business and Organizational Leadership from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa.
Huber previously served as the Athletic Director at Maranatha Christian Academy in Shawnee, Kan., since July 2024. Prior to this, he spent 13 years (2008-21) as the Executive Pastor over Family Ministries at Westside Family Church in Lenexa, Kan.
In his new position at Park University, Huber's main responsibilities will focus on business development and driving new student enrollment. He will also establish and maintain strategic relationships between the University and corporate entities.
