Pforzheim University Kicks Off Winter Semester 2023/24 with a Host of Opportunities

The winter semester 2023/24 has begun at Pforzheim University, welcoming over 1,000 new bachelor's students and around 350 new master's students. Rector Professor Dr. Ulrich Jautz encouraged students to seize the opportunities available, including studying abroad and participating in student initiatives.

During the welcome event held in the Walter-Witzenmann Hall, new students were introduced to various student initiatives and councils. They also had the chance to meet fellow students and learn about the university's partnerships with over 100 partner universities in 45 countries.

One initiative that caught the attention of many new students was the "Racing Forge," a student initiative that designs and builds electric racing cars. The Racing Forge participates in the Formula Student, a racing series.
