Music school compatriots continue to follow Theodora Kupke's lead in their shared artistic journey
In the picturesque town of Stetten near Neunburg vorm Wald, authorities are investigating a troubling incident involving a burnt-out car with a body. The Amberg Criminal Police are currently probing the case, and witnesses are being sought to aid in the investigation.
Meanwhile, in the Alps, climate change has brought about an unexpected sight - an old ski lift has resurfaced after 50 years, posing challenges to the local tourism industry.
On a more positive note, the Music School Tirschenreuth's association "Mut" has been active in supporting various initiatives. Theodora Kupke, chairwoman of the association from Wiesau, recently presented gifts to Dr. Xaver Strasser and Heinz Hofmann, recognising their long-standing commitment. The association also awarded a scholarship to former student and talented singer Adnan Barami.
The Music School Tirschenreuth itself celebrated its 40-year anniversary with a donation of 5,000 euros, and an additional 8,000 euros were given for the purchase of a piano for the rehearsal room. The association also loaned a master violin and a student cello to support talented young musicians.
In Mitterteich, the Zoiglstube Oppl announced its closure in November, ending an era of traditional beer service. However, cask sales at Oppl will continue, providing a glimmer of hope for loyal patrons.
The association also took out insurance to protect the valuable instruments loaned to students, ensuring their safety and longevity.
Elsewhere, the annual general meeting of the association was held at Möbelhaus Gleißner, and several new members joined the advisory board, including Carol Bischoff, Daniela Keller, Liselotte Kulzer, Irmgard Stroßenreuther, Wolfgang Trottmann, and Luise Zant.
In Weiden, preparations are underway for the city's Christopher Street Day (CSD), despite rising hate crimes. Phillip Pietsch from Kunterbunt Amberg is providing advice on how to protect oneself from threats and attacks during the event.
Unfortunately, a car salesman in Sulzbach-Rosenberg was the victim of a theft, with 2000 euros stolen during a car viewing.
Lastly, a heartwarming gesture was made by Laura Dahlmeier's mother, who shared a necklace pendant, symbolizing connection, with the community.
As always, it's essential to stay informed about the happenings in our local communities. For more detailed financial information about the association "Mut" of the Music School Tirschenreuth, we recommend checking their official publications or contacting them directly.
