The Stiftung EVZ (Foundation "Remembrance, Responsibility and Future") has announced a call for model projects in the area of political education, focusing on antisemitism-critical education at the University of Würzburg. If your project idea aligns with this focus and meets the criteria, you may be eligible for funding. Here's a step-by-step guide to the application process.
Before you begin, it's essential to develop a project idea that falls within the scope of the call. Once you have a clear idea, you can start preparing your application. The application process involves several steps: submitting the funding application, providing the application form, cost and financing plan, and project description/project planning, and awaiting feedback.
If your project is approved, it will be subject to certain conditions. A final report must be submitted after the completion of the project. It's also important to note that any changes to the project must be reported to the responsible person on the website and a change request submitted in consultation with them.
Starting May 1, 2024, change requests will be generally restricted, and only allowed in exceptional cases where changes were unforeseeable. Grant recipients also have a notification obligation for essential changes in the project.
Model projects can receive funding outside of regular guidelines according to §§ 23, 44 of the Federal Budget Ordinance. The individual allocation, as defined by the Federal Agency for Civic Education, is the annual allocation of the expenditure and financing plan.

Finally, it's important to note that the deadline for submitting complete application documents is four months before the planned project start.
