MediaSummit SPU Launches at VSU, Backed by Minister and Experts
Today, October 1, marked the grand opening of MediaSummit SPU at Vladivostok State University (VSU). The event, part of the second Far Eastern Youth Media Summit, drew attention from key figures including Sergei Dubovitsky, Minister of Professional Education and Employment of the Primorye Territory.
The summit, organized by the Center for Advanced Professional Training with government support, aims to identify challenges, share experiences, and foster a united media community within the professional education system. Sergei Dubovitsky praised the efforts of teachers and students in media centers, expressing his backing for their work.
Oksana Kuzmina, a federal expert, highlighted the significance of media centers as transmitters of meanings and ideas. Victor Sukhanov, chairman of the Primorsky branch of the Union of Journalists of Russia, emphasized the importance of real professions and the need for specialists in the region.
Irina Namtaeva, head of the Center for Advanced Professional Training, thanked all involved in the Media Summit and extended gratitude to Minister Sergei Dubovitsky.
The development of media centers in the secondary professional education system is a strategic priority. The successful launch of MediaSummit SPU signals a step forward in achieving this goal, with support from officials and experts alike.
