LEAD Group Unveils 'Vision 2030', Appoints New Leaders
LEAD Group, a prominent player in Indian education, has revealed its ambitious 'LEAD Vision 2030' plan. The company aims to expand its reach to 10 million students across 25,000 schools and achieve a public listing by the end of this decade. To drive this growth, LEAD Group has appointed new leaders to its executive team.
Currently serving nearly 36 lakh students and empowering over 60,000 teachers, LEAD Group has come a long way since its inception in 2012 by co-founders Sumeet Mehta and Smita Deorah. Smita, also a child rights advocate, has been instrumental in shaping LEAD's mission.
To spearhead growth through deeper school partnerships, Deepak Hariharan has been elevated to Chief Business Officer. Moiz Saif joins as Chief Financial Officer, tasked with ensuring fiscal discipline and preparing LEAD for its public listing. Prasad Narasimha comes on board as Head of HR to drive LEAD's culture and leadership development. Ajay Kashyap is appointed as Chief Product and Technology Officer, focusing on innovation at the intersection of pedagogy, engineering, and AI-powered solutions.
With these strategic appointments, LEAD Group, currently present in over 8,500 schools across 400+ towns and cities, is poised for its next phase of growth.
