In a significant move to foster entrepreneurship, MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) has collaborated with the Foundation to launch the Ignite Bootcamp: RIDE 2025. This credited course, offered at no cost to the university, aims to empower students from all departments to create real-world startups.

Dr. Rahul Karad, administrator of MAEER's MIT and executive president of MAEER's MIT and MIT World Peace University, and chief initiator of MIT School of Government, is involved in the collaboration. He stated that this partnership is a crucial step towards creating impact beyond the classroom.

The Ignite Bootcamp: RIDE 2025, launched at the MIT-WPU's RIDE 2025 (Research, Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship) event, is powered by the Foundation's Ignite program, which is already impacting over 150,000 students in more than 1,000 institutions worldwide.

Rajeev Warrier, executive vice president of entrepreneurship at the Foundation, expressed that the partnership with MIT WPU reflects their commitment to providing students with real-world entrepreneurship experiences.

The top 150 startups from the Ignite Bootcamp will be presented at the Start-up Expo 2025, scheduled from 11-14 August. The top three startups from the Expo will be live-pitched for additional funding, incubation, prizes, and trophies.

MIT-WPU's entrepreneurship focus is evident in its extensive programs that prepare students for entrepreneurship, including specializations like Entrepreneurship and Family Business Management. The university also has a Budding Entrepreneurs Forum linked to its School of Business, reflecting an active entrepreneurial community.

Dr. Vinod Shastri, Director (Entrepreneurship) at MIT-WPU and a professor at the Ramcharan School of Leadership, leads the university's efforts in entrepreneurship education and leadership development.
