Kunsthaus Wiesbaden Hosts Unique Comic Workshop on Digital Civil Courage
The Kunsthaus Wiesbaden is hosting a unique comic workshop for students, aimed at fostering digital civil courage and democratic values. The workshop, led by Valentin Krayl, encourages students to express their views without using words, focusing on themes like freedom of speech and respectful language. It's part of the exhibition 'Why are we creative?' by Hermann Vaske and supported by the 'Democracy Lives in Wiesbaden' program.
The workshop, titled 'Let's Share, Digger!', takes place on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Kunsthaus Wiesbaden. Students will explore why people sometimes don't intervene and the types of discrimination that exist. They will then create their own webtoons about civil courage, learning to convey messages and take a stand without words. The event is free to attend.
Interested classes can register until November 7, 2025, by contacting [email protected]. The workshop is also connected to a separate webtoon event on the same day at 2:00 PM, where students will share their creations.
The webtoon workshop at the Kunsthaus Wiesbaden offers students a creative and engaging way to understand and express their views on digital civil courage and democratic values. By exploring these themes through webtoons, students can develop a deeper understanding of the importance of respectful language and freedom of speech.
