Expansion Planned for "Energetik" Children's Summer Camp in Yakutia
The "Energetik" children's summer camp in Yakutia, Russia, is set for an exciting expansion, aiming to enhance its facilities and capacity to better serve the local community.
Kirill Bychkov, Chairman of the Yakutia Government, views the development of the camp as an investment in the future of the republic. According to plans, construction at the "Energetik" camp will begin next year, with the addition of four new residential buildings, each capable of housing 50 children, increasing the camp's capacity by 200 people.
Currently, the camp can accommodate 256 children, with seven buildings, six for 34-38 children each, and one for up to 56. The camp is already home to 36 children from the Oymyakon district, with eight more from the Abyi district and one from the Momsky district expected to arrive, making a total of 38.
The children at the "Energetik" camp enjoy a variety of activities, including competitions, games, discos, and musical events during the evenings. During the day, they have free time for outdoor activities or rest after lunch. The camp's programme also includes morning art classes and individual and group sessions with psychologists to ensure a well-rounded and supportive experience.
Kirill Bychkov recently visited the children at the camp, praising its comfort, functionality, and attention to each child. Special attention is given to children from large and low-income families, as well as families of military personnel.
The "Energetik" camp has won the "Creating Conditions for Education, Recreation, and Youth Health" competition for the construction of quick-assembly structures, demonstrating its commitment to providing the best possible environment for the children.
The expansion plans also include modernising existing infrastructure to provide better living and recreational conditions, adding new sports and cultural facilities, and implementing environmentally friendly technologies to improve sustainability.
This expansion aims to improve the overall quality of the camp experience and provide more opportunities for children’s recreation and development during the summer season. The "Energetik" camp continues to be a valuable resource for the local community, offering a safe and enjoyable environment for children to grow and learn.
The expansion of the "Energetik" camp will broaden the range of activities available, encompassing home-and-garden and learning opportunities as part of its educational-and-self-development focus. The updated camp, with its improved infrastructure, will cultivate a lifestyle conducive to wholesome growth and development for the children.
