Kassel's Professional Mentoring Project Seeks Volunteers to Guide Youth into Work

The Professional Mentoring project, funded by the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration, is seeking volunteers in the city and region of Kassel for local volunteering. This initiative supports young people, often with migration or refugee backgrounds, in their transition from school to the world of jobs. The project, run by AGiL employment promotion organization, is currently seeking mentors to guide youngsters in career orientation, job applications, and interview preparation.

The Berufspatenprojekt in the Kassel region is actively recruiting new mentors. These professionals, from various industries, will support young people in their career orientation and entry into local jobs. The mentoring relationships can continue even after an apprentice has started their job. AGiL offers regular meetings, Stammtische, and further training to support the volunteers. Volunteers receive a compensation for their expenses and are integrated into a professionally supervised network. For more information, contact Brigitte Vogler at 0561−1003 1275 or via email at [email protected] and visit the website www.ourwebsite/gesellschaft-und-bildung/jugendberufshilfe/berufspatenprojekt.php.
