Kansas City Chiefs Partner with Park University

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced a new partnership with Park University, making the institution the first-ever Official Higher Education Partner of the NFL team. This collaboration aims to offer a range of opportunities for students, employees, coaches, and players of the Chiefs.

Mark Donovan, President of the Kansas City Chiefs, expressed his excitement about the partnership, while Shane Smeed, Park University's Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, believes it will increase public awareness of Park University's academic programs.

One of the key benefits of the partnership is a tuition assistance program for eligible Chiefs employees. These individuals can receive reimbursement for tuition while enrolled at Park University. The program's specific terms, however, have not been disclosed.

Park students will have the opportunity to interview for a position in the Chiefs Seasonal Assistant Program. The university will also become the presenting partner of this program. In addition, Park University will be the presenting partner at the Chiefs Draft Day III event this year.

The partnership is intended to support and enhance Park University's commitment to military personnel, given the university's longstanding tradition of honoring military members and supporting veterans. Thirty-three of Park University's 41 campuses are located on military installations across the country.

Executive members of the Chiefs organization will visit Park University's campus for speaking engagements each quarter. Furthermore, a Park student or graduate who is a military veteran will be recognised by the Chiefs during their annual Salute to Service game this season.

The Chiefs and Park University will collaborate to develop new concepts for the Seasonal Assistant Program, providing numerous professional development opportunities for Park students. The partnership is expected to offer a wealth of opportunities for both parties, with students looking forward to being involved with the successful Kansas City Chiefs.
