The City of Yekaterinburg has signed an agreement with Forum for the construction of a school at Raduga Park.

Alexei Orlov, the Mayor of the city, stated, "The education system in Yekaterinburg is one of the most advanced in the country because, over the past fifteen years, no school in Yekaterinburg has been built to a standard design."

Forum, the developer responsible for the project, has designed the new School No. 116 at Raduga Park, previously having worked on the Governor's Lyceum project in Solnechnogorsk.

In Solnechnogorsk, the governor's lyceum is under construction. To learn about the most expensive school in Yekaterinburg, continue reading.

"We are not building walls; we are putting values into these walls, which will live for a long time," said Sergei Miamin, the general director of Forum, during the signing ceremony.

The educational complex at Volgogradskaya will utilize key solutions from the lyceum. This includes, for example, group and individual work areas, facilities for evening preparation and additional education, the division of classrooms into profiled clusters, and maximal multifunctionality.

A gymnasium modeled after the Governor's Lyceum will be built at Raduga Park. Here are more details about the project.

The educational building will be divided into a primary, middle, and high school. At the center of the building will be common school rooms - a two-story conference hall with an amphitheater, a computer center for schoolchildren and teachers, and a 200-seat auditorium. This auditorium will be used for both in-school events and regional needs.

On the school grounds, a sports complex with running tracks, playing fields, and bleachers will be established. As with the lyceum in Solnechnogorsk, the sports facility will be open to the community during non-school hours. In addition, children's playgrounds and an amphitheater will be constructed in the schoolyard.

Apart from educational blocks, a four-story building will host a library with a coworking space and a museum, a café, laboratories, a media center, technological workshops, an IT polygon, and several sports halls.

At the school, students will develop their creative abilities and soft skills, especially through extracurricular project and research work. Here, students will be able to create a school television, produce animated and video films, and practice working with artificial intelligence.
