Maharashtra leads the pack with 28,511 startups, followed by Delhi with 16,356, and Uttar Pradesh with 15,360. These states, along with others like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana, are fostering innovation and growth in various sectors.

Karnataka, home to 16,954 startups, is an innovation capital with Bengaluru and other cities contributing to its growth. Tamil Nadu and Telangana, with 10,814 and 8,437 startups respectively, focus on hardware, SaaS, EV, AI, and biotech innovations. Emerging forces include Haryana, Kerala, and Rajasthan, with 8,400, 6,477, and 5,688 startups respectively, focusing on mobility, agritech, tourism-tech, and renewable energy.
