Annual Graduate Show Highlights Innovative Work of Students at Our Institution
The Annual Graduate Show, held on 2nd and 3rd June at our institution's campus in Delhi, was a vibrant tapestry of creativity, showcasing the work of graduating students in Fashion Design, Interior Architecture and Design, Communication Design, and Fashion Business Management.
The event commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony involving several dignitaries, setting the tone for a celebration of academic and professional excellence.
Communication Design students were awarded prizes for Academic Excellence, Professional Excellence, Most Socially Relevant Project, and Special Recommendation. The Fashion Design student, Ms. Sana Saxena, was awarded Academic Excellence and Most Innovative Design Collection, while Mr. Kartik Mahalwal received the Best Engineered Design Collection.
In the realm of Fashion Design, Ms. Sanjana Grover was awarded the Socially Design Collection. The Fashion Business Management (FBM) students, Mr. Manik Sharma, Ms. Khushi Bansal, Ms. Reetika Singh, Ms. Vanshika Gandhi, and Ms. Devyani Keswani, were recognised for their academic and professional achievements.
Mr. Rajeev Sethi, India's first scenographer and Padma Bhushan award winner, felicitated the Fashion Design students for their exceptional work. Mr. Yogeshwar Sharma, CEO & Executive Director - Select Citywalk, also awarded the FBM students for their outstanding performance.
The showcase included mesmerizing projection mapping, audio-visual displays, immersive art installations, refurbished wooden furniture displays, retail window displays, an engaging fashion show, and interactive 3D interior walkthroughs. The unique exhibition spaces transformed our institution campus into a dynamic and inspiring environment.
The event was attended by a diverse audience, including industry professionals, art & design enthusiasts, and the general public. Some of the prominent guests who felicitated the students included Mr. Rajeev Sethi, Sunil Sethi, Dr. Sudha Dhingra, Mrs. Leena Singh, Ms. Indrani De Parker, Ms. Mandeep Negi, Mr. Rajeev Lochan, Suvir Saran, Dr. Vandana Bhandari, and many more.
