Highlighting Trailblazing Women: Honoring Ex-Students Shining in the Realm of Music

Kylie Parham (Kyliente)

American tech house and peak-time techno sensation Kylie Parham, known as Kyliente, has been dominating the dance music scene for over a decade. After studying at our London school in 2023, she's rocked international stages at prestigious venues and major festivals like Groove Cruise Miami, Ultra Europe, and Area15. Kylie's unique style combines hard-hitting techno basslines with the danceable vocals and groove of house. In April 2024, she launched her captivating monthly mix series, "Empyria," and celebrated its tenth edition with a live show in Brooklyn. Kylie also co-owns the successful dance music outlet Exron, an impressive 90% women-led media organization reaching over 3.5 million listeners per month.

Florentia Stassi (FLORENTIA)

Florentia Stassi, aka FLORENTIA, accelerated her success at our school Music School in 2017. She started with our Intro to Logic Pro course, then jumped into a three-year Music Production & Sound Engineering Degree and the DJ Complete course. After graduating, she seized an internship at Defected Records, where she curated the 24/7 Defected Radio channel. FLORENTIA impressed the elrow team and earned their Up & Coming Competition in 2021, landing her as elrow's resident DJ from 2021-2023 and later joining the NGE Booking Agency roster alongside big-name artists like Jamie Jones, Alan Fitzpatrick, and Paco Osuna. Her performances graced significant events and venues including Jamie Jones' Paradise London at Drumsheds, Hi Ibiza for Eric Prydz Presents: CELL, Ushuaiā́ for ANTS, Amnesia Ibiza, Eastern Electrics Festival, The Warehouse Project for BBC Radio 1 & elrow, and Sziget Festival. FLORENTIA's reputation continues to grow as an up-and-coming force in electronic music.

Sophia Hadef

Sophia's experience at our Music School served as a game-changer, reshaping her perspective on music and its impact. Though she didn't pursue a music career, the business-focused aspects of her course delivered invaluable insights for her transition into tech and eventually procurement. Her success culminated in hosting The Cure radio show and winning the Radio DJ Award at the Smedia Awards – crediting her time at our Music School as a crucial factor in her achievement.

Tailor Jae

Tailor Jae shot to fame in 2019 when she won our scholarship program, in partnership with RA, and embarked on a Music Production & DJ Diploma course. Since studying with us, she's become a key player in the electronic music scene, showcasing her technical prowess with guest sets for HOR and Boiler Room, and earning spots on BBC Radio 1Xtra. In a significant milestone, Tailor released her debut solo track, which gained support from BBC 6 Music's Mary Anne Hobbs as the "New Music Future Track of the Day." Tailor now holds a coveted residency at Rinse FM, further cementing her role as an emerging force in the industry.

Halina Rice

Graduating from our school, Halina Rice has carved out a unique niche in the electronic music landscape, releasing successful tracks and culminating in her album REDUX, a testament to her artistic vision and technical expertise.
