The University is expanding its Gilbert campus space at the University Building in Gilbert's Heritage District. The Gilbert Town Council recently approved a lease amendment, allowing Park University to increase its footprint from just under 11,000 square-feet to nearly 18,000 square-feet.
Dr. Greg Gunderson, President of Park University, expressed gratitude towards the Town of Gilbert for playing an integral part in the university's success. He reiterated that changing lives through education is core to the University's mission.
The University expects enrollment at the start of the Fall 2019 semester to exceed its projections. For more information about admissions, visit the University's website or contact the Office of Admissions at the provided email or phone number.
The amendment also expands the University's initial three-year lease term to a five-year lease term through June 30, 2023. The University launched classes in Gilbert in Fall 2018, and this month will see the commencement of its inaugural season of intercollegiate athletics at the Gilbert Campus.
This expansion is part of broader institutional growth, with significant programming and staffing updates ongoing at Park University's main Parkville campus. The University continues to make strides in its mission to deliver quality education and support its communities.
Engaging in both education-and-self-development and sports is vital for holistic personal growth. Despite Park University's new Master of Business Administration (MBA) program and the commencement of its inaugural season of intercollegiate athletics at the Gilbert Campus, it appears that there are no specific sports programs or teams directly associated with the Gilbert campus for working adults.
