Exhibition 'Some Were Neighbors' Spotlights National Socialism, Promotes Democracy

A thought-provoking exhibition, 'Some were neighbors', delving into National Socialism is currently on display at the central police building in Bergheim-Zieverich. County Administrator Frank Rock, who visited the exhibition, emphasized its importance in understanding the past to safeguard democracy.

The exhibition, part of the county police department's extremism prevention work, has drawn several school classes. Frank Rock, accompanied by Frank Schulz, the leader of a training group, visited the exhibition on September 2, 2022. On the final day, Rock guided a vocational school class from Bergheim through the exhibition. The display aims to educate visitors about the dangers of extremism and the importance of remembrance.
