Vocational Colleges in Herford District Open Doors to Future Opportunities
The vocational colleges in the district of Herford are inviting the public to explore their facilities and programmes during open days on November 7th and 8th. These institutions continue to be established partners in dual training for numerous companies, both within and beyond the district.

The open days will take place at August-Griese-Berufskolleg in Löhne on Friday, 07.11., from 14 to 17 o'clock. Here, lessons will continue on-site without interruption during the planned construction work for the new building, which is scheduled to begin in late 2026.
At Anna-Siemsen-Berufskolleg in Herford, the open day will take place on Saturday, 08.11., from 9 to 12 o'clock. This college offers focuses in Health and Sports, Education and Social Work, Supply and Nutrition, Design, and Dual Training.
Erich-Gutenberg-Berufskolleg in Bünde, Anna-Siemsen-Berufskolleg in Herford, Friedrich-List-Berufskolleg in Herford, and Wilhelm-Normann-Berufskolleg in Herford will also host open days on November 8th, with specific times and locations provided earlier.
August-Griese-Berufskolleg offers full-time educational programs in Information and Machine Technology, and vocational training in the dual system in the areas of Electrical, Automotive, and Plastics Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Sanitary, Heating, and Air Conditioning Systems, and Information Technology.
Friedrich-List-Berufskolleg offers a focus in Economy and Administration, while Wilhelm-Normann-Berufskolleg focuses on Design, Construction and Wood, Agriculture and Nutrition.
The Berufskollegs in Herford district also offer continuous and interconnected educational programs that allow for the acquisition and completion of general educational qualifications, from the first school-leaving certificate to the professional Abitur.
Registration for the trial days can be done through schools or independently on the respective websites of the vocational colleges. The colleges will also host trial days between November 24th and 27th.
