Party General Secretary Tô Lâm lays out a strategic direction for transformation in Hanoi's education system, focusing on STEM and digital innovation. Here are the main points of this action plan:

Aim High:

  • Blend intellectual training with cultural education, ethics, aesthetics, and health education to cultivate well-rounded individuals.[1][5]

During his visit to Hà Nội - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted and Cầu Giấy Secondary School, Lâm presented education practice rooms, scholarships for outstanding students, and planted commemorative trees on campus. The Party leader emphasized these modern STEM classrooms are not just material gifts, but a sign of the Party and State's commitment to investing in the future and fostering a passion for science and technology among Vietnam's youth.

In addition, Hà Nội needs to implement the Politburo's Resolution No 57 on scientific and technological development, innovation, and national digital transformation. The city should also focus on investing in and supporting the education sector's development, with a particular emphasis on innovative teaching, STEM education, and digital transformation in schools.
