In the heart of the Pforzheim economic region, students aged 13 and above have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into various career paths during the summer holidays. Now in its 13th year, the project showcases training occupations from various sectors, offering approximately two-hour company visits in the mornings.

Organised by the municipal enterprise Wirtschaft und Stadtmarketing Pforzheim (WSP), this year's event promises to be an enlightening experience for those interested in learning more about the world of work. Participants can expect to visit 11 renowned companies, including KLEINER GmbH Stanztechnik, BÖHMLER Drehteile GmbH, Laboratoire Biostétique Kosmetik GmbH & Co. KG, and Stark Druck GmbH + Co. KG, among others.

Each company visit offers a unique opportunity for students to experience the daily work of these businesses firsthand and to gain career advice from employees and trainees. In addition to company tours, students can participate in hands-on workshops and meet with industry professionals.

The Siloah Bildungszentrum für Pflegeberufe, Caritasverband e.V. Pforzheim, Chopard Karl Scheufele GmbH, Spittelmeister GmbH, Hahn Automobile GmbH + Co. KG, and Ochsen Post Hotels and Restaurants are also participating in the project.

For those interested in taking part, registration is available via the online form at www.offen-fuer-morgen.de. Participants are advised to check the website for specific dates and requirements, as these may vary depending on the company visited.

While there is no direct, official information in the available sources about a "13th annual student action" specifically offering student visits to companies during the summer holidays, programs like this one are common in Germany. They often include industry tours, workshops, talks with professionals, and practical assignments, designed to provide insights into various careers, especially in technical and business fields.

To find out more about the specific requirements for this year's event, contacting local schools, the city’s education office, or business associations is recommended. Eligibility typically requires enrolment in a local secondary school, and the application process may include parental consent and teacher recommendation.

By participating in this project, students can gain a valuable understanding of the opportunities available to them in the Pforzheim economic region and make informed decisions about their future careers. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to explore the world of work in a fun and engaging way!
