Community support for caregivers: informational event in Wartburg district
In August, the Pflegeform e.V. is hosting a series of informative expert days across five different locations in the Wartburg district. These events are aimed at active neighborhood helpers, interested citizens who wish to volunteer, and those who want to learn more about this important service.
The first event will take place on Monday, 18.08.2025, in Vacha at Seniorenpflege Vacha, Jahnweg 17. The following days will see events in Berka/Werra, Thal, Geisa, and Treffurt.
The citizen-friendly support model for neighborhood assistance in the Wartburg district is known as the "Circle of Friends" program. This model, which promotes compassion and care within the community, has received support through grants such as a $25,000 grant from the Field Hall Foundation.
Each event will present the "Circle of Friends" program, discussing current information on neighborhood assistance in the Wartburg district, training opportunities for supporters, exchange of experiences, and professional impulses from care experts. Other topics include offers for children and young people in need of care, and new living arrangements in the field of care and disability.
Helpers who wish to participate can receive financial recognition for their support, but it requires completing a care course recognized by care insurance companies.
Interested parties are requested to contact the following individuals for registration:
