Junior Uni, the innovative educational institution for young minds, has unveiled an array of engaging activities for the upcoming season. From upcycling workshops to online courses and a summer festival, there's something for everyone.

For children aged seven to ten, an Upcycling workshop is provided where they can create unique jewelry from unusual materials. Another workshop, "Magical Soap & Bath Bombs," allows young creators to make fragrant creations. A "Space Art" course is also available for children aged four to six, enabling them to design their own planets.

Junior Uni's online program offers over 125 courses for the upcoming term. The program for schools and kindergartens commences on August 21st. A "Pura Vida! - Costa Rica" course is available, focusing on exploring the diversity of Costa Rica. For older students, a "Design Thinking" course is offered, where they can develop new ideas for sustainability together.

A Junior Uni Parliament is available for 11- to 14-year-olds, providing an opportunity for young politicos to engage. The registration period for these courses begins on Thursday, August 21st, at 10 am and ends on August 25th at 10 am. Remaining course spots can still be booked after the lottery and beyond August 25th.

The lottery system will be implemented after the registration period to allocate course spots. Students will be notified of their course placements via email. The winter semester will commence on September 13th.

In addition to the courses, Junior Uni is hosting a summer festival on August 30th from 12 to 4 pm. The event will take place both around the building and inside the Junior Uni, featuring interactive activities for all young researchers. The summer festival aims to showcase the diverse, creative, and research-driven nature of Junior Uni.

Dr. Ariane Staab, Managing Director, expresses her excitement about the summer festival, stating, "We are thrilled to offer this opportunity for our young researchers to come together and celebrate their creativity and passion for learning."

Admission to the summer festival is free, making it an exciting and accessible event for all. With over 2,500 spots available for these courses, there's plenty of room for everyone to join in the fun.
