Coinbase & Samsung Team Up to Boost Crypto Services for 75M Galaxy Users

Coinbase and Samsung have teamed up to offer a significant boost to crypto services for Galaxy smartphone users in the US. This is the largest consumer crypto distribution deal Coinbase has finalised, allowing 75 million users to buy, trade, and manage cryptocurrency directly within Samsung Wallet.

The integration, announced in late July 2025, will initially roll out in October. It embeds Coinbase services into Samsung Wallet, enabling users to view their crypto holdings alongside other digital assets. This marks Samsung's most substantial push into digital assets to date.

The partnership began with an initial phase that allowed users to link Samsung Pay as a payment option within the Coinbase app. Now, Galaxy device owners can enjoy a seamless crypto experience, with no need for separate apps or new accounts. Security is ensured through Samsung Wallet's biometric authentication, tokenization, and Samsung Knox.

As part of this collaboration, Galaxy device owners in the US will receive a free three-month subscription to Coinbase One, a premium membership service, and a $25 credit for their first trade. This deal is set to transform the crypto landscape, making it more accessible and convenient for millions of Samsung Galaxy smartphone users.
