The television competition 'Class Act!' has kicked off its public voting phase, with residents of the Khabarovsk region invited to support their favorite teachers until September 28. This year's show has received an impressive 6720 applications from teachers across Russia, aged 21 to 71.
The competition, part of the federal project 'Teachers and Mentors' under the national project 'Youth and Children', aims to recognize talented and outstanding educators who can inspire and motivate students. Each of the seven nominations, corresponding to specific school subjects, has five semifinalists.
Among the contestants is Maria Mikhailova, a mathematics teacher at the Khabarovsk Technical School of Technosphere Safety and Industrial Technologies. She is one of the seven contestants set to be shown on air. Meanwhile, Alexey Ivanov, a student from the Amur region, has already won a scholarship at the Pedagogical University in Komsomolsk-on-Amur through the competition.
The public vote will help determine the finalists of 'Class Act!', with the goal of celebrating and encouraging exceptional teachers who make a significant impact on their students' lives.
