Celebrating Top Performers at the Vocational College's Graduation Ceremony

In a heartwarming ceremony held at the Berufskolleg der Stadt Bottrop, three top graduates from various vocational high schools were honoured by Sparkasse Bottrop. The event saw the recognition of Paul Brandt from the Informatics vocational high school, Katelynn Wittern from the Economics vocational high school, and Hayam Khodr, the sole student from the Health Gymnasium to achieve a perfect Abitur score of 1.0 this year.

The ceremony was graced by Daniel Millow, a representative from Sparkasse Bottrop, who brought greetings and gifts for the exceptional students. In his speech, Millow reminded the top students that the ceremonial gift certificate they received could be used for celebrations, vacations, or savings, encouraging them to make the most of their achievements.

Guido Tewes and Moritz Michalowsky, the present school leadership, extended warm invitations to the top graduates for future visits at BKB and wished them success in their careers and private lives. Tina Kraemer, the area manager, reiterated that an Abitur from BKB provides opportunities for any training or study.

While details about the traditions for recognizing top graduates at Sparkasse Bottrop and BKB were not immediately available, it is known that such ceremonies are common in educational institutions as a way to honour academic excellence. For Sparkasse Bottrop, recognising student achievements might involve partnerships with local educational institutions or community programs.

It's worth noting that the Health Gymnasium seems to be a mistaken term, as gymnasiums in Germany focus on general education rather than health-specific programs. The top scores achieved this year in Informatics, Economics, and other subjects are typically reported by educational institutions and can vary significantly from year to year.

The top scores of the honourees this year are a testament to the hard work and dedication of these students. Their achievements serve as an inspiration to their peers and a reminder of the potential that lies within each student at BKB. As they embark on their future endeavours, these top graduates carry with them the pride and support of their school and community.
