Dr. Verdini's academic background is impressive, having earned a B.S. in International Relations & Political Science from the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE, Mexico), an M.S. in Political Science from MIT, and a Ph.D. in Negotiation, Communication, Diplomacy & Leadership from MIT, where he structured and earned the first-ever interdepartmental Ph.D. in these four distinct fields.

He is not only an academic but also an educator, serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Sloan School of Management Global Programs at MIT and the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at MIT. Dr. Verdini also co-founded MIT's Concentration in Negotiation and Leadership and annually mentors scholars and entrepreneurs.
