Middle Georgia State University Celebrates Academic Excellence
Middle Georgia State University (MGA) has announced its Summer 2022 honors list, recognising students who have achieved the highest marks in various programmes. The list includes students from Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, and Undergraduate Certificate programmes.
The Academic Excellence program at MGA has three levels of recognition: Honor Roll, Honor Roll with Distinction, and a President's List. Dr. Meryl P. Epstein, Dean of Academic Affairs, congratulated the honor roll recipients on their academic success.
Among the students on the Honor Roll with Distinction is Arnaldo Fonseca, who received the Undergraduate Certificate in Web Design. Kylie Welsh, Jessica Thomas, and Maria Jose Nunez Bonequi are some of the students who made the Honor Roll. Notably, Jessica Thomas achieved this distinction in the Associate of Occupational Studies in Illustration.
The President's List recognises students who have a GPA of at least 3.8. Pernell Andrews, a student in the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, and John Olson, a student in the Associate of Occupational Studies in Digital Media, are among those who made the President's List.
In addition to the recognition, students who earn these honors will receive a resume honor reflecting their consistent hard work and talent. They will also receive an official letter of recognition.

Angelique Shipley is another student who made the Honor Roll with Distinction, this time in the Undergraduate Certificate in Web Design. Kylie Welsh and Micky Jordan also made the President's List in the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
