AVPL Expands Drone Footprint, Launches Hisar Tech Park for Indigenisation
AVPL Ltd, a prominent player in India's drone ecosystem, has expanded its footprint with the establishment of AVPL Future Tech Park in Hisar, Haryana. Spanning 11-1/2 acres, the facility offers 3D printing services and aims to indigenise the drone ecosystem, working closely with component manufacturers.
AVPL Ltd, already present in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, is creating drone and agri-entrepreneurs to serve marginal farmers, with a goal of one entrepreneur per village. The company plans to set up 50 more remote pilot training organisations in the coming year, adding to its existing 20 remote pilot certificate issuing centres, the largest in India.
The company invites component manufacturers to set up units in the Hisar park on a royalty or share basis. AVPL Ltd assures orders, facilities, and revenue sharing for these manufacturers. With a chain of 70 service centres and an annual production capacity of 24,000 drones at its Bihta, Bihar manufacturing facility, the company is well-positioned to support this growth. AVPL Ltd has achieved 75% indigenisation in drone components, including flight controllers and small parts, demonstrating its commitment to the indigenisation of the drone ecosystem.
AVPL Ltd's expansion into Hisar, Haryana, with the AVPL Future Tech Park, signals a significant step towards its goal of indigenising India's drone ecosystem. By working with component manufacturers and creating entrepreneurs, the company is fostering growth and innovation in the sector.
