Applications are open for the 2025 Next Generation Leader Awards organized by Northern Kentucky Young Professionals, seeking outstanding individuals.
2025 Next Generation Leader Awards Now Open for Applications
The 2025 Next Generation Leader Awards (NGLAs) are now open for applications, offering an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of young leaders who are excelling in their careers and shaping the future of the region.
Hosted by Northern Kentucky Young Professionals (NKYP), a program of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the NGLAs honour young professionals aged 40 and under for significant accomplishments within their chosen professional field.
Applications for the NGLAs should be based on the applicants' primary job responsibilities, not the category the company they work for falls under. The awards recognize young professionals in eleven categories: Advocacy and Government Affairs, Arts, Entertainment & Hospitality, Education, Entrepreneurship, Media and Marketing, Medical & Healthcare Services, Professional Services, Public Service and Community-Based Organizations, Skilled Trades, Technology, and Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain.

The awards also recognize the commitment and contributions of young professionals to their community. The NGLAs have expanded to include categories for those making a difference in community-based organizations, public service, skilled trades, technology, and transportation, logistics, and supply chain.
The deadline for submitting applications for the NGLAs is October 1, 2025. The finalists and award winners will be recognized at a ceremony held on November 20, 2025, at The Carnegie in Covington, Kentucky.
