Sciences Po Announces Call for Panel Proposals for AIRE Conference 2025
The second edition of the AIRE conference at Sciences Po is set to take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. This conference aims to gather the environmental research community of Sciences Po for a day of panel sessions, a shared lunch, a keynote lecture, and an AIRE general assembly.
The organizers of the conference are willing to help find suitable partners for panel organization within Sciences Po. To ensure a successful panel, it should be organized by at least one member of Sciences Po, and a majority of panel participants should also be Sciences Po members. Panel organizers are encouraged to co-organize with colleagues from other disciplines or other Sciences Po research centers to promote interdisciplinarity.
Panel proposals are being accepted until the deadline of 31 January 2025. To submit a proposal, it is recommended to include the following details:
- A proposal title and abstract summarizing the theme and goals of the panel (not exceeding 250 words)
- Names, affiliations, and short bios of the proposed panelists or speakers
- A description of the panel format (e.g., presentations, moderated discussion)
- An explanation of the panel’s relevance to the conference theme
- Contact information of the submitter or panel organizer
Panels should focus on environmental research at Sciences Po and should include 3-4 speakers, with optional discussants. The conference welcomes both junior and senior colleagues, as well as those who do not primarily self-identify as environmental researchers but are interested in presenting environment-relevant work.
