A Fresh Employee joins our site, assuming the role of Photonics Technology Acceleration Manager
Annette Daley has been appointed as the Photonics Acceleration Manager at the University of Southampton's startup accelerator in partnership with CORNERSTONE Photonics and Innovation Centre (CPIC). This strategic move comes as the accelerator celebrates its 10-year anniversary.
With over 30 years of experience in Account Management, Relationship Management, and Business Development, Daley brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role. Her extensive experience includes working in sectors such as Finance and IT, at companies ranging from multi-national corporates to startups.
Daley's broad skillset and extensive experience make her well-placed to lead the start-up support program. Her role is integral to the mission of translating research into real-world applications and empowering tech entrepreneurs.
As Photonics Acceleration Manager, Daley will provide strategic guidance and mentoring to early-stage photonics companies. She will facilitate access to technical expertise, industry networks, and funding opportunities, helping startups navigate the commercialization process of photonics technologies.
