2025 Karnataka NEET Undergraduate Counselling: Scheduling, Procedure, Seat Configuration, Preference Selection, and Fee Details

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has initiated the Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2025 for MBBS and BDS courses. Eligible candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2025 can participate in the online counselling process.

The counselling is for the 85% state quota and all seats in private medical and dental colleges in Karnataka. Candidates must carefully review their NEET UG 2025 rank, seat matrix, and college preferences before filling options.

The Karnataka NEET Seat Matrix 2025 includes approximately 3,000 MBBS seats in government medical colleges, 7,000 MBBS seats in private medical colleges, 200 BDS seats in government dental colleges, and 2,500 BDS seats in private dental colleges.

The online counselling process involves registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting. Registration for non-UGCET applicants is open from July 7 to July 17, 2025. Document verification will take place offline on July 18 and 19, 2025.

Candidates must log in using their CET number and password to fill their choices. The initial round of choice filling, or Round 1 Option Entry, started from July 17, 2025, and the window closed on July 22, 2025. A mock allotment is available for candidates to revise their preferences during the final option entry window, expected to be from July 29 to July 31, 2025.

The Karnataka MBBS Fee (Per Year) ranges from ₹65,100 to ₹110,100 for government medical colleges, ₹1.54 lakh for private medical colleges with government quota, ₹8.11 lakh to ₹22.15 lakh for private medical colleges with private quota, and ₹17.5 lakh to ₹55 lakh for deemed universities with management/NRI quota. The Karnataka BDS Fees (Per Year) range from around ₹40,000-₹60,000 for government quota, similar to MBBS government quotas for private college government quota, ₹2.5 lakh - ₹4.5 lakh for private/NRI quota.

Candidates must select and prioritise MBBS/BDS colleges and courses. It is crucial to lock their choices before the deadline to avoid any inconvenience. The Round 1 Seat Allotment Result is expected on August 2, 2025, followed by fee payment and college reporting from August 3 to August 8, 2025.

Candidates are advised to keep checking the official KEA portal (cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea) for the latest notifications. The schedule may be updated by KEA on their official website.
